Rides And Games

The popular Mega Drop ride returns to the CNE this year along with other fair favourites such as the Ferris Wheel, Wave Swinger, Zipper, Swing Tower, and the Crazy Mouse spinning coaster to bring thrills and chills to visitors to the EX.

When not riding rides, visitors can spin to win, play bingo, have someone guess their age and weight, or play any one of more than 125 games at the CNE. If you are lucky, you might be able to take home a Tweety Bird, Sponge Bob or the Family Guy, after a fun filled day at the fair.

Midway

Open: 10 am - Midnight (Weekends)

All roads lead to the Midway at the CNE. Located right in the heart of the fairgrounds, there are 31 rides guaranteed to thrill even the most experienced rider. A new ride, the Skater, joins classic CNE favourites such as the Polar Express, Wave Swinger, Crazy Mouse and the Ferris Wheel.

Please Note: Sandals & Open Toed Shoes ARE allowed on CNE Rides this year!

Kiddie Midway

Daily
Open: 11 am - 11 pm (Weekdays)
open: 10 am - 11 pm (Weekends)

Located next to Kids’ World, the Kiddie Midway has 28 different rides designed just for smaller riders. There is also a selection of games designed just for kids. Rides this year include Dizzy Dragon, Bumper Cars and the Wacky Worm Coaster.

"Size Wize" at the CNE

The North American Midway Entertainment (N.A.M.E.) rides at the CNE are supported by the N.A.M.E. “Size Wize” program which easily informs our guests of the height requirement needed to gain access to each attraction, before they line-up. It is a two part program consisting of measurement stations conveniently located throughout the midway and signage at each ride clearly explaining height requirements for that ride. These signs will also outline the number of ride coupons required.
