Chocolate Challenge

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in collaboration with Succulent Chocolates and Sweets hosted the 2025 CNE Chocolate Sculpture Competition, from August 15 to 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Enercare Centre on Kitchen Stage.

This Year’s Theme: “Unexpected Pairings”

The CNE is a vibrant melange of color, flavours, fun, adventure, community and experiences. At the CNE you can always expect the unexpected – from wasabi ice cream to deep fried butter chicken lasagna, the CNE is known for pulling together wild combinations!

In this year’s inaugural Chocolate Sculpture Competition, participants led by experts from Succulent Chocolates worked in teams to build their own chocolate sculpture that showcased the CNE’s unique story by creating a show piece reflecting “Unexpected Pairings.”

Daily winners were displayed on the Kitchen Stage – and on August 23, special guest Anna Olson crowned the Grand Champion.

Guests melted over these masterpieces! On August 23 at 4:00 pm, guests were invited to sample these mind-blowing sculptures and celebrate the winners of the Chocolate Challenge.
