Cat Show
The CNE’s most purr-fect event is back and better than ever! The annual Cat Show will be held on August 29-30, 2026 in the Enercare Centre. More than 100 cats from across Canada will be competing for the ultimate prize of Best of the Best! Registration will be open to cats of all breeds and backgrounds, from the most illustrious pedigreed cat to your fur-ever rescue friend.
For 2026, join us in celebrating the 125 years of cat shows at the CNE! From the turn of the 20th century, the Cat Show has been a core part of the CNE experience. Explore the ways this show has been part of Toronto’s cat-loving community since the earliest days of the cat fancy, learn about some of its past winners, judges, and exhibitors, and learn how the CNE Cat Show fits into the feline fancy of today. Thank you to the CNE Archives & the Feline Historical Museum for their assistance.

Sunday at 12 noon: Best of the Best Presentation, Studio Ex
- Come see the Best Cats in Show for Saturday! One of our experts will present the Best of the Best Awards to our top 3 cats in each show category. Congratulations to the winners!
Saturday & Sunday at 11 AM, 2 PM, 4 PM: Meet the Breeds
- Get up close and purr-sonal with 5 of our incredible pedigreed breeds! From the majestic Maine Coon to the curly-coated Cornish Rex, you can get to know some of the unique cat breeds that attend our show. Ask questions, engage with breed experts, and of course say hi to some very special feline friends!
