Chocolate Challenge

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in collaboration with Succulent Chocolate and Sweets will host the 2025 CNE Chocolate Sculpture Competition, scheduled for August 15 to 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm at the Enercare Centre on Kitchen Stage.

This Year’s Theme: “Unexpected Pairings”

The CNE is a vibrant melange of color, flavours, fun, adventure, community and experiences. At the CNE you can always expect the unexpected – from wasabi ice cream to deep fried butter chicken lasagna, the CNE is known for pulling together wild combinations!

In this year’s inaugural Chocolate Sculpture Competition, participants led by experts from Succulent Chocolates will work in teams to build their own chocolate sculpture that showcases the CNE’s unique story by creating a show piece reflecting “Unexpected Pairings.”

Daily winners will be displayed on the Kitchen Stage – and on August 23, special guest Anna Olson will crown the Grand Champion.
