CNE Food Hall of fame

The CNE Food Hall of Fame returns!

Inspired by the 70th anniversary of the CNE Food Building and the ever-growing food obsession of not only CNE Visitors but the media as well, we would like to introduce the inaugural CNE Food Hall of Fame Awards. The objective is to celebrate and recognize the contributions (and creativity) our valued food vendors (indoors and outdoors), with the goal of continuing this program annually as a new CNE tradition and legacy.

Five food items will be selected by the Senior Leadership team to be inducted to the HOF during a ceremony Wednesday August 20th in the Food Building.

The CNE Food Hall of Fame will have a permanent place in history, represented by a branded pennant which will hang from the rafters in the iconic CNE Food Building.

Vendors will be selected based off of criteria related to:

• Longevity
• Innovation
• Popularity
• Taste

The senior team will be voting on the 2025 Inductees the week prior to the fair. Honourees will be notified to ensure they can attend the ceremony and whether they are interested in participating.
