Bii-naa-gami (Anishinaabemowin) – Translation: Clean, Pure Water.

Visitors experienced the state-of-the-art Augmented Reality (AR) immersive exhibit titled Biinaagami: A Journey of Discovery, Exploration, and Learning, centered around the Great Lakes. This innovative exhibit was designed to inspire a shared responsibility for clean water:

• Guests explored compelling Indigenous narratives that highlighted the importance of water preservation.
• They engaged with true-to-scale wildlife and environments.
• They interactively learned about the Great Lakes watershed and ecology.
• They were transported to the St. Lawrence estuaries to understand how noise and plastic pollution are diminishing the Beluga whale population.

Biinaagami encouraged everyone to play their part in protecting the Great Lakes.
