The Beaver Project

The CNE was proud to introduce the Beaver Project—a community initiative that collaborates with non-profit organizations to create and display art sculptures. In this project, talented artists with disabilities or special needs decorated a five-foot-six-inch fiberglass sculpture of our beloved mascot, ALEX the Beaver. The sculpture’s lightweight structure provided an ideal canvas for creative expression.

The Beaver Project aimed to showcase the unlimited potential of specialized artists and raise awareness for charitable organizations that support these communities. Over the past few years, we have had the privilege of working with more than 20 groups, and we are excited to expand our reach to additional organizations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
