Sustainability at the CNE

At the CNE, we are committed to fostering a sustainable future through innovation and waste diversion initiatives. As Canada’s largest annual event, our goal is to reduce environmental impacts while promoting responsible practices. Key efforts include waste minimization, responsible material sourcing and climate-conscious operations, aligning with Toronto’s Net Zero readiness goal for 2040. As an organization, our mission is to establish new sustainability benchmarks and share best practices within the event industry.
