CNE Archives Exhibit: Celebrating the Legacy of the CNE
For 146 years, the Canadian National Exhibition has been more than just a summer tradition—it’s been a showcase of Canadian ingenuity, culture, and community. This exhibit highlighted the CNE’s enduring legacy through mini displays on technologies that first wowed visitors at the fair, its longstanding connection to the military, and its influential role in promoting sports, agriculture, music, and the arts.

CNE in Colour – The Joyful Lens of Scooter Korek
Guests took a step inside the fairgrounds through the eyes of Greg “Scooter” Korek—a longtime CNE organizer and ride safety specialist with a passion for photography. This vibrant exhibition featured Korek’s personal archive of candid images spanning night scenes, food, rides, music, sculptures, and the people of the CNE.

Mural Painting & Arts – Rose Garden
Guests witnessed the Rose Garden transform into an ever-changing outdoor gallery from August 15th to August 29th from 10am to 5pm. Talented artists brought large mural walls to life before your eyes. Each day, two walls became the canvas for fresh creations, while the other two showcased murals completed the day before.

Toronto Fire Public Education
The Toronto Fire Services (TFS) returned this year with their daily fire safety programing. Held at the CNE Fire Hall, TFS provided fire safety posters, educational brochures, daily raffles, tattoos for kids, and the opportunity to have a photo op with a fire truck!

Flyer Letters
After refurbishment and restoration, one of the FLYER’s original cars will be on display in the Swing Space of the Enercare for guests to take selfies and reminisce about this iconic, thrill-seeking ride.

The CNE Sign
This selfie destination made a spectacular debut at the 2017 Canadian National Exhibition and returned for 2025. This exhibit features an 8-foot tall CNE sign with a Canadian maple leaf, illuminated in all its glory.

Unity Pole
In early 2017, in celebration of the enormous contribution that Canada’s indigenous people have made to this great land, the CNE commissioned Ojibway artist Kris Nahrgang to create a Unity Pole.

The Red Blanket Project
The Red Blaket Project—by Mahshid Farhoudi was a collection of portrait paintings, drawings, text and videos depicting Canadian Armed Forces Veterans and Active members whose lives are affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The project aimed to explore the journey of self-reconstruction and the resurgence of one's unfettered human essence.
